Active Aviation Training are pleased to announce their brand new instructor course, aimed at training professionals who conduct Cabin Safety Instructor Training for Cabin Crew & Flight Crew.

Commenting on the launch of this new course, Kerry Lawrence - Director - Commercial & Finance for Active Aviation Training explained "The course has been created after gathering feedback from our global airline customers who have expressed interest in cabin safety specific subjects combined into one course. The aim of our Cabin Safety Instructor course is to provide cabin safety instructors with added knowledge on cabin safety subjects and training. The course provides instructors with the skills to understand effective practical training and also how to conduct examinations and checking of standards in a fair and consistent manner. During the course instructors will participate in ditching / wet drill practical training, fire & smoke practical training and evacuation drills. The course also reviews recent case studies and statistics to use in training to ensure cabin safety related training courses can be delivered in a motivational manner with up to date information".

Kerry also explained that for global airlines who wanted to add specific subject knowledge for their training instructor the options available also include the 2 day Fire & Smoke Training for Instructors, the 4 day CRM Instructor Course, 1 day Survival Instructor Course and the 2 days on SEP Standards which focuses more on the delivery of SEP related training and on how to meet training requirements.
